Monica is a highly experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a First-Class BSc in Physiotherapy and a strong background across both clinical and elite sport settings.
She progressed quickly through the NHS, becoming a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist in 2021 before advancing to a Band 7 Highly Specialist role in 2023. Alongside this, Monica works as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner within a GP setting, where she is involved in early diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including the use of imaging such as X-rays and MRI, as well as identifying more complex or serious pathologies.
Monica also has extensive experience in elite sport. She has worked within academy football at St Mirren FC and currently works with both Scottish Football Association youth international squads and Celtic FC academy players, supporting athletes from initial injury through to full return to play.
Monica has a particular interest in helping people move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they enjoy – whether that’s high-level sport or everyday life.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys rugby and spending time with her dog.
